23 February 2020

Every year in the month of February, our church Kingdom Seekers International hosts our three-day annual camp, which is an intense time of seeking the Lord away from the distractions of the world. The much anticipated KSI Jesus Lovers Bootcamp this year was held from Feb 6-9th and saw an all-time high attendance with around 80 people registering from different parts of India. The beautiful, serene, YMCA lakeside camp, which was well organised by its facilitators, made the perfect ground and ambience for soaking in the presence of God for three days with no distractions and no chaos.

Although the event transpired, it’s only the beginning of what God has birthed in each one of us who came for the camp.

This year the theme of our camp was ‘Birthing’ based on the Scripture: “Voice of the Lord…causes birth” (Psalm 29:9). The various session topics covered different aspects of birthing including: Intimacy with God, Fighting fear and wrong associations that cause spiritual abortion, Sonship, Preparing for Birth etc.

Every single person who attended was handpicked by God. The enemy tried every trick in the book to keep some of them from coming. But nothing could stop these children from receiving what God had in store for them at this camp. Months of preparation, all night prayers and above all the grace of our God broke through very scheme and attack of the enemy. The ones who came hungry, received in abundance and overflowing. The ones who came because someone pushed them by praying and encouraging them till the very last minute also received in abundance what they did not ask for.

The speakers at JLB weren’t a coincidence. They were chosen, prepared and set apart, for these three days, by God, to deliver power packed, life changing revelations and wisdom to a group of hungry Jesus Lovers, who would then go forth to set the other captives free. Apart from our very own lead pastors, Pastor Derrick and Pastor Kim, we had our guest pastors, Pastor Cleophas David (Kingdom Life Church, Bangalore) and Pastor Stephen Samuel (House of Healing Church, Manipal), who ministered under the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Along with an overflow of the prophetic, we sang, we danced, we praised and worshipped the Lover of our souls, with all our soul and with all our strength.

The games, the group skits, the outdoor YMCA activities and the camp fire brought this group of Jesus Lovers from different parts of the country together, new friendships were born.

What happened at the end of three days? Lives were changed, bondages were broken, physical, mental and emotional healings. Those who came in with bondages, hurts, sickness, questions, tears and fears, went back singing and dancing, full of joy, set free; empowered with revelations and prophecies, armed with spiritual weapons to go ahead and fight the good fight, to conceive what God has birthed in them.
