I believed, but why didn’t I see?

I was just pondering over a ‘small’, but effective principle in the Word of God. Most of us know that we have to believe God’s Word to receive the results God has promised. But what happens when we do not get the results we expect, even though we have believed?
Is it that God’s Word did not come to pass or could it be that there was a problem in the belief stage?
The Power of Alignment
Here’s one way you can find out.
The Bible says: ALL things are possible to him who BELIEVES (Mark 9:23)
To Believe = To Align oneself
Step 1: Ask yourself what have you believed?
Step 2: Check if your life has been aligned to that belief.
The result is directly proportional to alignment of our life to our belief system.
“Alignment” or “making a change in your life” due to a new belief you have learnt in the Bible is the only gauge that you truly believed. There are so many who believe but never align themselves to what they have believed.
For example, 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells within you”
If we truly believe the above statement we would do the below:
1 Thoroughly check our hearts and minds and get rid of everything that hinders and defiles God’s temple. Why? Because we believe God dwells in us.
2 We would then align our life to our belief – since we are God’s dwelling place we should live a life separated from the world and alive to God (John 17:16, 2 Corinthians 10:3). This truth believed and received with the heart will then produce results that will give us access to the indwelling Spirit of God through faith (Romans 5:2).
3 Every truth of God’s Word must be “believed” and “received” with all our hearts for permanent change (John 1:12)
We live victoriously, we are free from sickness, we lack no good thing and manifest His kingdom on earth.
That’s the Power of Alignment to your beliefs!
